Incoterms란?

Incoterms라는 용어는 “International Commercial Terms에서 각각 “In”과 “co”및 “terms”를 발췌, 합성하여 만든 국제용어 입니다.

정형거래조건을 통하여 물품이 매도인에게서 매수인에게로 이르는 동안에 그 물품에 관한 위험과 비용을 누가 부담하는지, 물품의 국제적 운송과 수출입통관에 필요한 일은 누가 담당하여야 하는지 등의 국제물품매매계약에서 공통적이고, 보편적이고, 기본적인 문제들을 해결하고자 하여왔으나 정형거래조건은 국가나 지역에 따라 달리 해석되었고, 이로 인하여 국제거래에서 불필요한 오해와 분쟁이 초래되어 거래비용이 증가되어 왔습니다.

이러한 문제를 해결하고자 국제상업회의소(International Chamber of Commerce: ICC)는 1936년에 처음 Incoterms를 제정 하였고 그 후 개정되어 왔습니다.

EXW (EX Works)

DAP (Delivered at Place)

DDP (Delivered Duty Paid)

Delivered Duty Paid DDP named place of destination Incoterms® 2010 — This term may be used whatever mode or modes of transport may be used.

FOB (Free on Board)

CFR (Cost & Freight)

Cost and Freight CFR named port of destination Incoterms® 2010 — This rule is intended for use only when carriage is by sea or inland waterway.

CIF (Cost Insurance & Freight)

Cost Insurance and Freight CIF named port of destination Incoterms® 2010 — This term is to be used only when carriage is by sea or inland waterway.

CIP (Carriage & Insurance Paid)

Carriage and Insurance Paid CIP to named place Incoterms® 2010 — This term may be used whatever mode or modes of transport will be used.

FAS (Free Alongside Ship)

Free Alongside Ship FAS named port of shipment Incoterms® 2010 — The seller delivers the goods when they are placed alongside the vessel nominated
